No but i might panel it in with thin plastic sheet - same on the drivers side - not sure yetQuote:

After a mooch round looms (local scrappy) with lionel on the wkend I picked up a zx wiper mechanism to fit - mistakenly thinking that it would save some weight (it doesn't btw, so don't bother if thats your thing) - but essentially all it does is tidy up the bay a bit more and lose the motor from the firewall.
Anyway, cleaned up mechanism:

I found that just the one bolt through the scuttle gutter let the wiper flex a lot, so I also put one through the top of the scuttle with a spacer. Both the tabs on the wiper mech needed bending to allow the spindle to sit at a decent angle to the screen.
I tested it with the nova wiper arm but will be using the zx one as it sweeps better, just need to trim the length down a bit and rebend the tab on the end.
Did you cut off the unused bolt hole so it clears the bulkhead better too?
Ok ok I forgot some bits - yeah i did have to trim that tab off dude altho i think you could probably get away without it depending how hard you wanted to wedge it into the bulkhead - i also put a 2mm spacer in between the scuttle gutter bolt.Quote:

Also finished off putting the front end wiring out through the wing - it looks a bit pikey but i'm fairly sure the wiring wont get damp!

Tested my front end wiring and it all works so it can go back together - I thought being as it's in bits a rub down and frsh coat of waxoyl wont hurt as it seems to have done a pretty good job over the last 3yrs:

Got a few little jobs done over the weekend (altho still havent finished the head as waiting on a reamer) - done a rear wheel bearing, waxoyled up the rear as well, swapped wheels round front to back, drilled through for my battery cable and megajolt wiring and got my wiper arm modified and mounted:
