I didn't have a clue what it was called but Rick Draper and Will F run them and they look super posh, I didn't think it was possible to make this car better but you've done it proud again
Swindon belt cover was imho the best bit on my whole nova.
Stunning Martin, I can honestly say the best just got better. I've always loved this car wether it be in Mistral or erm Purple? lol
never seen this before. looks awesome!
where u going for rolling road setup/tuning martin?
Had a wee read through Martin - You've made a tidy car very very tidy
You taking it to any shows next year ? Last time I seen it was PVS 08...
Hello,
As there had been very little progress recently due to waiting for engine builder / mapper to come round & sort my non start issues out i hadnt posted anything.
Well this afternoon they came round. Tim Adams who built it & John Toovey who mapped it both came to take a look.
Not really sure what the main problem was, i need to re-earth the engine as that was weak, he also advised as battery was re-located to under the seat i'am best running another earth from the battery direct to the engine as well as the earth from the terminal to the shell.
As soon as we were cranking the voltage was dropping too much, earthed it with a jump lead & finally got it to go.
John did his thing with the laptop, no idea what he was doing other than adjusting the fuel for start up.
One spark plug wasnt happy, so popped to local motor factors, got new set of four and now its as happy as larry!
Took if for a quick shakedown around the block a few times and all seems ok. Gearlinkage needs adjusting again as not happy with 1st, 3rd etc but other than that it was nice to get behind the wheel again.
Next job is to do the earths & hopefully pick heated screen up Wednesday so will have that to get done.
Noticed too some dents appeared in my roof, probably due to sticking stuff on it when cover is on, so need to get dent man around to work his magic, then another bleed of brakes & time to get it MOT'd
Happy days :)

Getting excited now & my enthusiasm is coming back!!

Looking good Martin!....... Make sure you use someone who has an excellent reputation for paintless dent removal as done incorrectly on a dark colour like yours could potentially be bad news. Im sure Ade culley should be able to point you in the right direction as Im sure his shop will draft someone in the same as we do etc.
Nick.
Great news dude :) At least its all fixable and relatively easy to sort. When i expect a passenger ride then?! ;)
