I'm at the gym 5 days a week most weeks (sometimes Saturdays too) allegedly muscle helps burn fat, not sure how I think and google doesn't help the argument as some people say it does some say it doesn't what I think they mean is lifting weights is another good way to burn calories.
The body can covent fat to muscle to a point so yes.
^ you can't turn fat into muscle. You can burn fat and build muscle but not turn one into the other.
