Im not keen on the pinstripes idea
The dealer sport stripes bit of the decals is a good idea tho
Poll is a good idea as well lol
Cheers Scott, pillar vinyl will go on when im working on it next
Yeah the tri colors in there original place is what might work
It does look like it needs to be lower I agree mate, the small tyres dont help imo, I don't really like a nova too low, but I will look into tho
Crack on mate :)
I havnt really got anymore pics atm tho
Mine is now borderline too low, as Ive hit the floor pan/exhaust on exiting nasty speed bumps..
I'm being maybe thick but which are the dealer stripes besides the ones that are on the bonnet?
Same on bonnet, boot Conner, and each rear arch/ 1/4 top corner dude.
Cheers Scott, did think that but might make the doors look sparce the reason being why I though triple pinstripes down the side.
You mean the Burgo option lol

I think the grey fade makes the car, it accentuates the arches.
If you really want to be different go for a totally different design like 400 style etc
What about the three dealersport stripes large down the side of the car going from the rear quarter up through the door towards the roof but make them fade out like the grey normally would, up or down.
Fit them,if they look muck, bin em.
Simple really lol
I'll have a go tomorrow at a few designs for you Edd, some normal and some abit random but will probably mean you'll go to the standard Sport vinyl as it looks best lol
I was just about to get started... found this on a search of the web though which may save me some hassle though lol.

Imo that doesn't look right, maybe if it had the arch cut out like the original decals
Had a spare 10 minutes Edd, so here you go... basically the same with slight variations. ;)

Nice one mate, thanks very much for doing that
Think I will enjoy it bare for a month then get all the original decals put on with pillar vinyl
The grey does look very nice imo but atm I can't justify getting them custom made as I already have a set of originals
Thanks again mate
Needs the proper decals imo
Definately put the decals on,all of them
No problem Edd anytime.
I do prefer the grey decals for maybe a Sport rep but however with yours being a real one then it does need the proper sticker kit ;)
Hhhmmm i'm unsure on the stickers...
I'm with Southie, put the original ones on mate!
And also dont bother with the grey on the b pillars imo
I have decided to fit the decals as it wouldn't be a Sport without them, I can see where people are coming from bout leaving them off tho
Still undecided bout the pillar vinyl
Got a pair of genuine wheel bearings today, will start sorting them after I get up from nightshift tomorrow, cant wait to drive it again, im like a kid christmas lol
Genuine front bumper turned up today as well
where do you get your decals from? mine were from dmb graphics
That is where mine are from
Got this genuine bumper to go on, the pattern one looks utter crap and the bumper flashes look equally bad imo
Going to get some vinyl this time, painting the bumper Upol grey and fitting it this afternoon

Got the front hub off, bearing being pressed in tomorrow, looking forward to driving it again

Need to put ALOT of miles on it as I won't be going to Billing if I don't trust it 100%
Sticker bomb it lol

Have considered something like that lol more in the lines like the harry hockley model you get on ebay tho
But I ruled it out as it might look crap and I need to stop spending money on it as I need to pay for wedding and house renovation
This type of one??
http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/y...1111111111.jpg
Yep, won't fit the WW2 search lights on the front tho lol they look hideous
I'd rather go for sport graphics than that one mate, hope you get the bearings done soon
If I was at my old place and mortgage free I would of thought about something else but now I have a mortgage again and Sport decals in the loft they will be going on lol
Craig is going to do the bearing for me tomorrow at his old mans :)
House bills suck lol doing the back garden up which involves building walls, drainage, turfing, and worst of all MANUAL LABOUR :(
Thats all time and money that could be put towards a nova lol
Good to see you'll have it sorted soon
Got the new bumper on, sooooo much better fit, painted the new plate screw caps with some black plastic paint as well

Wedding is just one day, a car lasts forever, spend spend spend lol
New bumper looks good.
I'm having similar issues to you, brand new bearing pressed in and it has play. Happened when I was using my smallblock hubs and despite pressing in a new one it had play! So gonna leave mine lol
Did you use rattle cans on that bumper Edd? also where did yo get your plates made?
Cheers, new bearing better not have play on mine lol I NEED to drive it again
I used Upol mid grey on it mate, same as I have done all the other plastics in
I got the plates from Rich with the shell, you'll have to double check but think he got them made at the NEC classic car show
Can you put some black or grey vinyl behind the plough on the front valance as it stands out being white.
