I then painted the chassis leg where i made the mod for running the calibra gearbox mount

List of jobs for tomorrow:
I have to run a brake line from the rear t-piece to the braided line in the car.
Modify and fit the wiring harness.
Throttle cables.
Refit the thermostat.
Put some water in
And maybe hear it fire up??????

well said danny boy. get it done, im getting impatient now captain g
A smal update though there ain't any pics the loom is fully tucked away the flocked dash is in the panel for the switch's has been made. Just got wire up the heated windscreen and tidy the wires in the boot area. Then once the tie bars arrive then were rolling. I'm gonna get it mot'd before the painting hopefully. So next weekend should be the day of reckoning really. I'll get pics asap cheers gareth
heated windscreen you slaaaaaggg
Yep it's makes the heating system redundant lol
oww whats occurring!?
he's being gay!
you made a start on the doors yet Gareth ?
bet my corsa's still quicker
Well I have manged to get a couple of the fiddly things done this weekend. but TBF i have neglegted it this weekend :(.
I couldnt seem to get the lights working for my fuel pumps without dragging the earths about so I re made the plate.

Fitted with the switches in.
http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC04221.jpg
Then I tackled the stack dash, I had an idea in my head how i wanted it to sit and luckly it seems to be how I wanted it.
I cut some carbon fibre the same size as the inside of the nova cowling.
http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC04215.jpg
I trimmed the inside of the cowling so the cabon would sit flush, then notched the top so the clocks would be fine. once I cut the centre out the carbon, I bonded the clocks to the carbon then bonded it to the cowling and ended up with this.
http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC04220.jpg
Then I fitted to to the dash to see what it looked like.
http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC04218.jpg
sits nicely in the centre
http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC04219.jpg
I have done other stuff but I keep forgetting the pics. im gonna do the wiring for the heated windscreen and the stack dash next eek after work then get panels sorted to have it to the painters very shortly.
Cheers Gareth
Those Elise dashes are ok but it doesn't cover the rpm you intend to use ??
Personally I'd just fit a separate tacho in there and run some separate gauges for oil pressure and water and oil temp.
Shame the LCD display is in the tacho, if it was the other way round you could of maybe squeezed a aftermarket tacho in the cluster.
Looking good though mate. Will call you this week with some good news hopefully :)
i wanna feel the sunshine after the raaaiin....
