ted had done what he said and straightened all the ripples out of the doors, painted the inners and gave them a light coat on the outside, i dont need the doors yet as they'll get damaged in the garage when i open them up etc. he gave them a quick blast with some underseal too.

thanks for all the comments guys.
moffat its subaru world rally blue or by lechler colour scheme rallye blue 74f.
i now realise i should have had the tailgate done at the same time, due to me needing to allign it up using the hinges on the inside of the roof and i do want to fit the headlining back in. hoping i can leave the back end of the headlining dangling down untill the tailgates painted.

armed with 2 5litre bottles of hot water and a sponge, i went down to my garage to wash the insides of the nova. it had gathered quite a good coating of dust and dirt from when it was out on the farm, plus it had some residue from the polish etc from being painted.
the insides started off like this....

a tadge grubby and not nice on the eyes. gave the insides and engine bay a scrubbing and ended up like so...

mucho better. ted, my painter, gave me some 1500grit wet and dry and some good polish to get the paint i had sprayed super shiney and flat.

i started on a couple small areas to start with to see the out come, i wasnt to pleased as the paint just went dull and had no shine to it. i gave it a polish and it came back up to a shine. is that ment to happen when colour sanding? i left that for now as i dont want to ruin my paint. lol
heres a few more pics so i can pic whore, i know its nothing to look at right now but to me its a beaut. :d
