Wow, big job ahead! Was actually wondering about the durability of a dipped shell. Keith, do you think the quality of dipping and the subsequent electrophoretic coating lives up to your expectations, or would you do things differently should you do a similar type restoration/build?
I would never do it again, my perception vs reality was way out. I feel I wouldn't be doing this now if I'd just painted the shell instead as it was absolutely brand new when I first started and has been dry stored in a heated garage/carcoon since.Quote:
