Scott mine don't have direction markers on at all, but Nova Ian has a set exactly the same but with direction markers.
Can't see how mounting the rears 'backwards' will resolve loading up of one edge as surely if you went on a mostly left handed track it'd load up the other sides? Or am I getting confused? lol Screw it they can stay how they are!
You are correct though they're cross-ply tyres from what I have read.

Directional tyres have a tread pattern that has some sort of advantage as it's loaded in the longitudinal direction (i.e from the bonnet to the tailgate orientation) If you're putting your foot down, which is when you want the advantage, your fronts are pushing forwards and your rears are dragging backwards due to friction in bearings etc and no power. If you look at that diagram driven tyres always point the opposite direction to undriven.
So i wasn't a million miles away then! lol
I would get them swapped round to make sure your getting the correct performance out of them mate.

Fair enough might fit them the opposite way round on the back when I refit them.
How much did you book that evening session for mate? as i think the price has gone up some?
Also are you driving it there on them tyres, didn't think there road legal?

Looks to be the same price at £129 on CircuitDays (link on previous page). Don't know if they're road legal either but I had a quick blast on them yesterday to check for scrubbing. Will be driving to the event on the T1Rs and probably keep them for wet tyres
how far is it to donny from yours? Just forget to change to road tyres lol
16 miles, around half hour, yeah might do if I'm too lazy to swap them back afterwards lol
