After a further clean everything still looked ok

Last of all i began to paint the block this is how i left it - its having a new water pump btw.

Anyone any idea on were i might be able to source the rebuild parts i need? big end bearings, main end bearings, piston rings main bolts and con rod nuts??

not a clue, i would assume a normal motorfactors. ive heard the rods are the weak link but they look funking huge

Tried my local motor factors they are usually really good i got a full cam belt kit, and full gasket kit and head bolts but no chance of the other bits :confused:


The rods are huge much bigger than xe stuff...

Motor factors would be my suggestion, have you tried some of the bigger ones? We have Andrew Page up here don't know who you have down there but a larger one may be better than a local one?

200 bhp is safe for xe rods with arp's possibly more
