When i had the engine on the stand, i used the ecotec gasket from my work (Fai one) it leaked, so did it again in the car with the same gasket with some Rtv sealant. Still leaked got a Gm Ecotec gasket and Rtv, did it and its leaking all the way around..Quote:

After doing the sump gaskets none of my xes did. Thats one things that really bugging me.
Benn, have you tried the right sump "cement" stuff from vauxhall? I can send you a tube if you want? (it's vw stuff, but it's exactly the same as vauxhall stuff) I used it on my xe, it never leaked. EVER! lol
My sump dont leak!
