what i need is someone to let me know how much wider they are????Or even better measure there car and tell me the distance form arch lip to arch lip on the rear
Cheers

Does anyone remember in TV a few years back (probably not then lol) they had a green nova sr which had a wide arch kit, I believe it was a prima kit, but was unsure at the time as i'd never heard of them before.Quote:

yeh its issue march 03. had the 17inch alloys on it.v.nice. mine was that kit.the reason i said an inch or two wider was because when i fitted my et 20 alloys they were bout an inch an a half wider than standard arches.
so got the kit.fitted it an had about a finger gap in between the wheel and arch.
Fooking hell what ya do ?
i bent it a bit.lol. dont worry i still got my good looks.haha.that was my fibreglass stage as i was young.well i still am but ive learnt not to waste my time with it.but i still like widearches.cant be assed to fit them again though.lol
surprisingly i had no broken bones. just a chip in my tooth and a swollen face.went to a local hospital.patched up my scratches and sent me home. had to pay 300pound for the hedge.lmao
you like the pvg sticker on the bumper^^^^
i know its off the thead but that is a batmotorsport bodykit.
What he said.Quote:

Well I know they used too years ago !!!
Dave
well i know i ordered it from pro tec.got the receipt still.
Thanx for the help i will wait till i have my drive train on and have chosen my wheels before i go getting my kit so i know how wide i will need to get. Pick up the other half of the project tomorrow so will get that stripped and cut out over the weekend i will post some pics up as i go
Look forward to some interesting reading over the weekend then!
Top Project!! Would be awesome if you could keep the standard arches, ultimate sleeper! Although i assume it would mean a lot more work.. Seen the Ford boys doing it this way on the escort mk3 cossie conversions on passion ford. Can't wait to see the progress!!
fook me! I was gonna say you still go the floor pan but then say the bits in the back yard lol
Colin - where abouts in Scotland are you?
Ade
I agree with Andy, It will be awesome if you can keep within standard arches.
It could be done with standard arches, but to a much greater expence. And as far as im concerned it will be costing more than what it would sell for already with what i have so i will just be using that
Im in Fife Dunfermline. Why do you ask????
I got the sierra stripped and part cut up. Wont get to much done tomorrow i have to go down to Newcastle and pick a car up with a mate but will get something done i hope:roll:
Great project!:thumb::D Will be great to see this when its all done!
Did you not fancy using any of the original floor?

using the original floor would be harder i think, as you`d have to make mounting brackets up for, axle, suspention, engine , gearbox etc.........
also cut the floor to put a tunnel in...... using the sierra floor you have everything already there..........
