Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream has been reccommended by a friend.

I see where youre coming from, needs to be re-done anyway as its a cover up so will all be sorted then!
I was highly reccomended savlon for first day or so then perfume free moisturiser. No vaseline or anything like that!
Ah right! Its not bad for a cover up then!!
I started to used savlon on my wrist but its bad to use because it proper dries your skin out so I just you saline for that now.
Elizabeth arden has vit A & E in it which aids healing. Should try it! Good for scars too.
If you use enough savlon, it doesnt dry out!
ITs not too bad for a cover up, you can see some of the old tattoo in the edges, as i sadi it still needs finishing as it took a good few hours and it started to swell quite badly, plus my skins a real bitch at times and wont take the ink!!
Getting it redone FOC so no complaints!
For a cover up, it's not too bad! try Johnsons baby moisturiser, it doesn't dry skin, and it's bloody good!!!
bepanthen, nappy rash cream it works a treat lol
dont use saline it will dull the colour, hence savlon works best just put loads on

Heres mine. Got it done yesterday. Bit tender now but really didnt hurt that much at all! 2 hour sitting. And I'm totally in love with it!

Savlon is actually bad for a tattoo. It makes the scabbing go softer, which prevents it from healing properly. Was told by my tattooist that it also draws the ink out of your skin, therefore making it blotchy.Quote:

i just f**ked that last bit of work on my arm up, i was in the sun all day got it wet etc, so need it touching up now as some of the scabs came off and you can tell where they have oh well
lol i got a new tat aswell, got it done on the weekend with a mates that came up for the weekend from devon was funny, but its in a random place on my leg haha
