Don't worry Andy, Speedlines are staying the standard colour. Just looking for a colour for the drag wheels as they are a bit tatty.
Anything beats doing things like that yourself, I detest painting!!Quote:

Update??
Not much to say really, its built and absolutely filthy with dust, will get some pics when I drag it out of the garage.
Got an XE to play with now and thats taking up my time at the moment as not bothered about that getting battered!!
saw this the other day...
look very nice, looked mint, even though Lee kept pointing out fault's in the paint - which i couldn't see what he was talking about lol
C'mon lee! Get your finger out and show us your ride!
Its absolutely thick with dust and still has to go back to the bodyshop. Will take some at weekend though for you.
As promised, some pics. Car is full of dust and didn't want the hassle of getting it out of the garage so the pics aren't great lol

Looking tidy - I like that :)
Thats looking superb Lee, i'm sure your very pleased with it!
Edit - What suspension are you running? Avo's?
Keith
Cheers Keith, wish i'd done it to the standard of your build but i've had it too long and already wasted too much money on it.
Running Gaz coilovers on the front and Avo rear shocks with some springs from Coilsprings.
Used to run Avo's but they bottomed out running it as low as it is now.
Thats Nice Mate Is That Diomand Black

Didnt realise it was all built back up with the engine in!
Whats left to do on it Lee?
Been built up for months Andy, just needs an MOT and then going to back to the bodyshop for the bumpers and grille to be flatted and a few imperfections sorted.
You decided where ya getting the M.O.T done yet?
Somewhere very leniant when the weathers also a bit better.
looked really nice when i saw it :thumb: hows the xe have you sorted out the running problem yet?
Cheers. Not yet, changed the head gasket over xmas but not really tried it since.Quote:

Latest update on this is i've bought a Wizards of NOS nitrous kit with minimax controller (cheers Mr Tunicliffe), going to keep and use this kit after selling the one I bought last year. Feel the car is better equipped for putting the power down this time with the diff and equal length shaft setup on it now.
Engine may be having to come apart though if I decide to fit steel rods for piece of mind as the standard ones will probably be on borrowed time.
Also needing to get a wideband sensor at this stage I think to keep an eye on fuelling, can see this snowballing into another massive spend on the bloody thing.
Should go well on the 1/4 with the nitrous fitted. :)
Thats the plan, think thats what i'm mainly building the car for now so 12 seconds 1/4's is my aim and then maybe use a bit more nitrous if possible.
More up to date pics.

Loose the clear rears tho :thumb:
Stunning lee, love it!
Looking good lee!
I take it thats just a half cage fitted, hence why your buying Riggy's SD cage???
Full six point Fabricage cage in it. Riggys one is going in the red shed.
