Nice work Iain, now get that bastid engine in! :p
You can pick them up for ?100... well worth the investment if your gonna use it more than once.
My mom and dad bought my brother one for his 18th birthday.. he's an apprentice mechanic.
Nice work Iain,
Cant believe how much its come on! Looks like it will be top notch!
Keep it up and keep us updated.
Ian
Looking good mate it just looks like my car at the mo no dash etc, i like the front bumper mate, what wheels are you going to put on?
Cheers everybody. I'm going to use my Astra 6 spokes that are currently on my blue one.
Cheers it's becoming slightly less of a shed :D Should be fun when it's finished (Soon hopefully) :thumb:Quote:

:thumb:
Woohoo its in. Nice one. I also love the skateboards to move the engine in to place:thumb:
Finished all the wiring + alarm (with r/c/l) yesterday finally, after many problems with blowing fuses and stuff it's finally done. Oh, and it runs. lol
Looks fairly tidy with the new wings on, just needs the rear arches doing. Lowered 50mm in the following pic but putting -60mm springs on I think.

Next up was the interior, got stripped and painted as Vauxhall were fairly stingy with the paint!
http://www.iainel.co.uk/images/forums/NovaWIP/32.JPG
Finished product doesn't look bad at all, at least there's no rust! :D
http://www.iainel.co.uk/images/forums/NovaWIP/33.JPG
And here's how it stands at the moment (note digidash in second pic wired in)

just read the whole thread, looking good mate, youv inspired me to work on mine now ive finished college! have you taken it for a spin yet? how hard was it fitting the 1.6 engine loom as i want a gsi engine for mine but doing the electrics is putting me off!
Was planning on waiting until it's finished before driving it but the fcuking engine is refusing to start again now.:mad:Quote:
