Took photos of mine as I went so I knew where it all goes ;) Also got a spare to A: compare with, and B: to replace the one I took apart when it breaks lol
Also bought two of these to have a play at modding...

No, they look smaller, and pah 10Q :) old school brushed motors, they are all brushless now :)
I stopped racing just as brushless stuff was coming in, was a bit pricy to swap it all over and just as pricy for top spec batteries for a year and I had a Nova to play with so I packed it in. and yeah looking at it now I see they're mini spades, not regular size ones.
My 10 was a beast! it's a custom wind or something like that, technically not legal but I never raced above regional level and I wasn't that quick so lol Plus there's not really much advantage to the extra power off road, just how I liked it drive it.

Got it back together and working a tab better ;) only problem ive got now is when you cock it it spits a dart out LOL got some decent range though.

All participents must wear steel toe boots, sun block of no less than factor 50, protective eye wear, ear defe....

I think we need to make a rule of, only Nerf branded guns allowed. Guns to only fire ammo as intended for that weapon, ie foam darts and discs. Modifications limited to voltage increase, motor upgrade, spring upgrade, seal improvements, lock removal and appearance enhancements like addition of a stock, grip, sight and repaints. No additional method of propulsion like Co2, any other compressed gas or explosive charge lol.
No modification to ammo that would cause injury.
Etc, etc...
Does that sound fair?

I think we have to remember that we are representing a club and we do need to behave in a way that will not affect our membership of the VBOA.
It is great to have fun and I am sure we will in 'Nerf wars, Billing style', but we need to make sure it does not get out of hand. Also children will be present and expensive cars that owners will not appreciate stray darts hitting.

I don't want to sound like a health and safety officer and spoil the fun. I want to have as much fun as the rest of us but just dont want things getting out of hand ;)
The club has worked really hard to get back into the VBOA and we all need to keep up the great image we have earned but still have loads of fun :)
I was only messing around to be fair... I'd never get drainpipes big enough for those volleyballs, now tennis ball sized foams, maybe... :p

i'm sure a quick google search will show up that there is a nice park or recreation ground within easy distance of the billing site, so this small armageddon type thing can take place without vboa getting upset
just to add my 2p's worth, i had a great time on sunday afternoon and have only just stopped peeling after some rather epic beehive burn lol, i too have been looking at some nerf guns but cant quite commit to buying one

Just waiting for my motors to be delivered and need to sort out upping the voltage with new batteries. Got a few other ideas for it and I think I will need to sort out cooling for the motors.
