Someone on a ford forum set up the reproduction of mk1 escort front wings and Mexico ones to supply the likes of hadrians. They were a pretty good fit too.

Basically a Nova with a drivers airbag and a 1.9 CDTI 170 engine would sell rather well imho (aslong as it was a max of £15K. Lots and Lots of misty eyed people in their 30's now who had novas when they were newish and in the position to afford to spend the £15K on something like that.
BUT then again, a Clio 1*2 is pretty much what a factory big block 2l Nova 'would' be these days.
And a 100% better car too
the difference is that bl/austin/rover/bmw kept basically the same tooling as they were still producing late model old minis, & transferred the gear to a facility that was already making the mg & tr shells from original tooling.....Quote:

Re the spelling.......so long as people make an effort and don't do the text thing. I usualy have the tv on, am on the phone whilst I do emails etc so my spelling is awful. It is great at work where it has to be but when at home....chill
BRING BACK THE NOVA......, I would love it but in actual fact through the corsa b c and d the nova/corsa has evolved. I liked the corsa D when it came out at first because it had a bit of the styling cues from the oriiginal nova, ie wheel arch flares and a bit of a face like the very first nova grill. Sadly it drives like most euro boxes, but that is the way now although I havn't driven the vxr.
