Love how your showing off your Nova at all these shows, I can't believe the Nationals was 7 months ago :eek:
Just shows that the club could do with more presence at these shows. I didnt know about the Uttoxeter one til after the event, be nice to do that next year.
Tatton used to be a good show and been there with PNG many years ago
I'll be honest I wouldn't know where to look for most of these events tbh, I take it they're known if you've been going for a while.
A thread which shows that there's others to go to than the usual pvs, billing and such what would be an idea... It would be worth starting IMO, I'd enjoy some of these I think ;)
Sounds a good idea. When I have put up details there has been zero response on PNG
Andrew Greenwood organised 5 of the 8 shows we went to.
There were 6 other novas at the the shows this year. 4 are on PNG. 2 were not

All I was doing was saying how nice it was that you've had your SR so long, and made a comment based on opinion what would make it better
Tomorrow it will be 22 years of ownership. When I started this thread 2 years ago I really did not expect the car still to on the road. As in 2012 a full schedule of local shows is planned for 2013.

whats the facebook page for novas i want to get to some shows with my novavan and hopefully get some parts and advise/inspiration at the same time. yours is looking very tidy good to see that there are still people who look after their cars

Looks fantastic! My only slight critcism would be the lower colour is a little too light. Glad you found a full set of bumpstrips!

As a celebration of over 100,000 miles of use I purchased a banner ! to go with other Nova bits
Certainly some things in common with our use of the nova but certainly not the warranty as there was only a one year warranty at the time and even if it had existed at the time it would no longer be honoured. Even the speedo and service book did not allow for this period of use. Perhaps a credit to the German/UK engineering that was assembled in Spain, that it does.
Network Q started in 1990 (year the Nova was registered) but the banner is much later (2010?)

2014 update .............now 23 years of ownership. When I started this thread 3 years ago I really did not expect the car still to on the road. As in 2012 and 2013 a schedule of shows is planned for 2014 (subject to MOT etc) starting off with a longer trip to Holland all booked.
