Finally devised a way to get the speedo to work, this little inductive sensor will pick up a small nut tacked to the drive shaft just hope it can work at high speed due to the frequency of the revolutions

Also managed to get the buttons for using the options on the dash

Some nice parts going into this build
Did you use cosworth pistons as well then Gareth? Yeah I was a bit surprised to see a groove in them as well, hope they hold the revs lol
Cheers Connor just hope it goes together right!

http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/u...ebuild/049.jpg
Not an awfull lot left to do on the engine its self, but now i can start prepping the bay ready and get the wiring done!
Looking really good.
The sump pan is nicer than the SBD item by the looks of it as it can bolt to the lower half of the gearbox. Having seen a expensive gearbox fall to pieces ( Non Vaux ) as it wasn't bolted top and bottom its good to see QED/ Titan have thought ahead
YHPM
did you get a 2mm head in the end??
Thanks
Yeah i much prefer the QED kit although there were a few niggling bits with it!
No mate still running the 1mm oversized one! but if we have worked it out right then there should be no need for biiger valves! but who knows until it gets on the rollers and makes 150hp lol
