there was a guy that came on either here or pvg claiming he had a v8 in the back of a nova but the pictures he posted were very obscure and didnt show that the car was a nova so we deemed it bull **** till we got more pics none ever materialized

I'm willing to stick my neck out and say it's Escort Cos running gear (adapted to fit) and a Sierra donated the floor pan. I'm probably wrong though. lol

The other strange conversion I can think of would be a Chevette or mk2 Astra 1200 OHV engine, basically a bored & stroked 1L pushrod lump.
im sooooooooooo glad my dad cant see this lol he's wanted to do a v6 ford engine into a nova for years, WITH MY FOOKIN NOVA!!!Quote:

sorry about quality i used my phone :s
Mmm nice VTEC installation in the Chevette.
I took some pics of a VTEC powered poverty spec Peugeot 309 sleeper some time ago.
Inlet on the 14XE looks intriguing. ;)Quote:

Was a local build IIRC.
No, unless it went on to become that, but I still think not.
yeah i like the manifold on the chevette the most, darrens brother has a c20xe stage nova but is thinking about putting s2000 engine in now :s we'll see if it ever gets done

Funny seeing these again. I started a thread on MIGweb about this car & it sparked a massive argument about the wheels on it. They arent steels but some mad metal-matrix/NASA alloy citroen C5 things that only weigh 5kg & cost pittance from Citroen new.
The Chevette is impressive. Some lads were fitting an S2000 motor to a 3dr Cosworth locally a while back. I think it was destined for rally cross. :)
Craig that FWD 309 is awesome! Interesting info on the wheels!
yeah, hoping to be going testing with darren and few others in a couple of months. will try get some vids.
i like the 309, would love to put tuned honda lump in one my cars. just for the revs :P
Yeah if I had a 205 or Saxo, they would be on it.Quote:

See LM solutions for details lol
Aren't C5's 5 stud? I'm going to find these crazy wheels on my next trip to the breakers. lol 108 PCD.
I did a recall on the c5's they had a fault with the wheels cracking when they came out there made of alloy thats why there so light.Quote:
