Can't beat that In-Vee swagger. Even my tiddly-in-comparison V6 tries to leap sideways if you give it some rev when standing :d

Such an amazing car, very jealous! has to be the nicest sounding cars you can get. Sooo much better than that mazda you had.
My mission in the next few years is to own one of these!
I seen a VXR with added Wortec charger for £16k... the missis won't let me buy that or the GT3 aero kitted 911 C2S :( I hate having to buy a house:(
Yeah i saw that one too. Too be honest its not really needed, especailly out on these roads. Yeah i done both, within a month of each other, house then the car.
Thats the thing, if I had a house I could buy the car. London sucks for housing:(Quote:

So I started spending a lot of hard earned on parts. This is all being done ready for one last stage to be added bit later to make use of all that I did.

Sent the heads off to a lovely company called CTM, used them in the past always been impressed with their work so seemed rude not to use them once again.
Pathetic little chain. But needs to be off to make way for a Monkfish magic cam. Also after seeing the standard chain guide it made me nervous. So opted for the later Vxr8 example.

Whilst I was waiting on the heads me and the boy, set about tidying a few visual things, rocker covers, coil mounting plates, w/p, chain cover, disc bells, and heat wrapping the exhausts. And also some cosmetic wrapping by my mate Tony.

That's it for now, just waiting on my new roller rockers the in the new tax year the manifold will be off again and replaced with something a bit trick along with a mapping session.
Sweet ready for forced induction then
Looking great dude.
Bike carbs then
Why are gm so ****e are making chain guides / tensioners... :(
Tell me about it Stu. The original damper did feck all, the slack in the chain was crazy. I know it's ran like that for 25k but just didn't feel happy leaving it. Fitted that jobbie, all sweet. But the back lash I'm getting over fitting that over on the Holden forum is stupid.
Such a primitive engine
Yeah, some would say a blessing. The whole car is rather crude. But is all owing to muscle car status. If I had all the bits in one hit from start to finish the whole job would of been completed in less than a day. Big, crude, reliable horsepower... Can't beat it.
What you need as a contrast now is something fiddly and japanese to work on :d
Yeah cheers for that. I will get back to you on it, just been proper busy.
Yeah thats cool, I think the MOT is due about mid feb and a there's a few miles left on the belt lol
