Next jobs, front to rear brake pipes off, fuel lines off and then strip the tailgate,

Car is going on Tuesday to the bodyshop for a couple of weeks. Whilst its away i'm planning on cleaning everything up and painting what needs painting and then it should be a simple bolt together job!

Good use of the dishwasher, especially for the inlet lol . Looks like a Bosch dishwahser to me. Need to chuck my washer and coolant bottles, they are rather messy.

lol cant believe its still on your drive haha , is this the same one that was there last time i popped over lol , looking good thought , and im sure you will finish it this time

Bottles and hoses came out mint, although the bottles were already new so only a little bit of a clean was needed :thumb:

Car has gone to the bodyshop for paint this morning, rest of the day was taken up by sorting out plating items and powder coating items (Have to point out that dropping a rear axle on your little toe is not to advisable!!)

I also dropped off the Bilstein sticker i managed to peal off the shocks with the guy who does out stickers for work andhe is going to remake it so i can strip and clean the shocks

Should be only away 2 weeks or so, shell back first then panels will follow after that, saves them being sat around at home getting marked:thumb:

Ahh Paul Woodcocks Sport. And he hasn't changed much since I last saw him about 5-6 years ago.
Nice to see it in the open again.
I never got to see it rebuilt after he bent it.
Still is a very good example.

Just back from collecting the bumper, 5 minutes in the garage with a heat gun and hey presto its now spot on!!

Missed this comment Craig, If you remember the show the sunday mornign was damp to say the least and Paul had trouble starting the car, there was a croud of people trying to help and I opened my big mouth joking and asked if anyone was a mechanic and Ady (red hutchinson cabby) opened his mouth and said no but you are can you fix it and I spent most of the mornign sorting out what turned out to be a flooded set of plugs.

Little did I know what i'd be doing now to it, but being honest I can't wait to get cracking on bolting it together now

WOW ive not been on here for aaaaaages and one of the first posts i see is this one. Good work Mark so far. May have to keep popping back to see this done.

This was one of my favourite sports from when i had my first one and Jennifer (i think it was) owned this one. Got some pics of it from a show that Stu Tyson organised up in Cumbria when me and Tony drove up in ours.
