I wouldnt guess it would be worth it on a standard motor but if you have a few upgrades then the mj allows you to tune the ignition accordingly.
Heres a photo of the built unit (megajolt lite junior v4) for anyone that might be interested! Will get some of the trigger wheel/sensor bracket etc shortly....

Afraid not, would be cool if you could tweak it from your phone tho! - its not that big... that pics bigger than real life lol
do you think you feel a nice upgrade with mj? im running a HH dizzy setup on mine and it seems fine? made 183bhp :D
yes its definately made an improvement on mine - but i was running a standard bosch dizzy (from a 1.4 I think) - be interesting to see on yours.Quote:

Update! well pre-date, or stuff i should have posted by now anyway.
Also if a mod could put megajolt in the title i'd be much obligued.
Well dizzy is now officially retired, running megajolt full time now - very happy with it. The engine feels much smoother, more willing low down and stronger midrange. i don't think its made a deal of difference to the top end but that is most likely the cam I am running as its pretty mild.
Taken a few pics of the install now, to follow. Bear with me, it's messy as I haven't put it in properly yet - I am going to relocate the edis inside the car so there will only be wires running to the coil, crank sensor and tps in the engine bay - nice and neat. I also have a dizzy blank but haven't put this on yet.
Also - warning - phone camera pics, so not the best!
What do you want the thread title changing to?
Trigger wheel and crank sensor:

Bit closer on crank sensor bracket - modified 16xe:

Just something a little more descriptive would be good, cheers in advance:Quote:

Good work on the trigger/sensor setup, is it just a trigger ring welded onto the standard bottom pully??
Title changed

Currently running the wiring into the car here, but when I rehash the wiring will be going through the bulkhead in the inlet area:

Nice one, look forward to driving it! Should be good when it's all tidy in the bay and free of wires!
Does look a very neat job.
Moving inside the wiring comes through in footwell and the mj, edis and tps all earth here (top left):

Megajolt mounted (pikey cable ties - see a theme here lol?) in a really stupid place, as it was super quick and handy for now:

Wired up my rev counter, ignore the trailing wires - they are just power and earth take offs as i'm running the wideband in the car at the mo:

And for those interested, hooked up to the laptop!:

Over winter im going mega tidy: blanking dizzy, moving edis inside, new rad with pusher fan, hiding lights loom etc, so should be fairly minimal after that dude. Look forward to you breaking it again lol!Quote:

Massive thanks to tom reid for his part in the carbs, crank sensor bracket, trigger wheel, setup, mapping, etc etc etc - maybe we'll get yours finished off soon mate!
Yep I'll break it again if you want me to lol You going completely hidden loom behind the wing or just under the slam panel?
