at end of the day, you paid for a car before having a proper look at it, i can get proof of all the work done yet im still waiting for the proof of this aparent "standard" engine, i dnt want nothing signed by a mot tester either, i want an engineers report with bore sizes, piston part numbers, port sizes valve sizes etc.... you can slag the car off all you like but like i told you before the engine was bought by me from a trader, he is willing to stand up in court to hold his end, so there obviously something amiss since it left my house, wen u got here i tiold you about the clutch, it wasnt leaking as much oil as u stated either, in fact there are no oil marks at all here, and the rolling road guy said with a better clutch and cooler that will do 200bhp easy. Like ive said, engineers report to prove or get ure own clutch,
i was very reasonable with you untill i saw this thread, i will say what ive said 200 times, it was as described apart form the bits i told you about when you was here, what happened since everyone believes this way is your a scammer trying to **** people over like your phony insurance claims and false insurance policies, you no doubt sold the engine "standard" engine since for more than its aparent worth so therefore cant get the engineers report i want, all just to have more money to spend on it, when you was here you said you didnt know nothing about cars and you told the rolling road operator the same thing. if you wanted a mint fiesta with super engine why look at an unfinished project, my old grey one is for sale for £3.5k he never had a complaint abotu that, and benny had the blue one after that, again he knew what was wrong with that wen he bought it. Ive said what i got to say, sorry for the childish out bursts, you will get your clutch when i recieve the engineers report,
Look in the thread in general car chat.Quote:

"drivin responsably!!! lol" Blatant lie, These sheds on wheels he buys and sells on for large profits after fitting pov spec 250,000 bhp cossie engines are so un-roadworthy they are impossible to drive "responsably"
"Pissin the police off" Well known to the police for driving around in cars that are hanging and often attempting to leave them in his 250,000 bhp cossie powered look-a-like XR2 Fiesta's.
Occupation:
Driver
"Driver" Buying cars from scrap yards, Driving them home and painting them with homebase emulsion and rattle cans, Claim they have 160+ bhp and sell them for less than what it should go for.
Drives::
changes weekly lol
"Changes weekly lol" Changes weekly due to many things,
Not being able to drive properly due to bits falling off the car as they plod along at 40 mph (Top speed)
Selling scrapper on for a huge profit after lieing to the buyer and claiming they are rust freee MONSTORS!!!!!
Police takeing them off of him.
good work on the fiesta burgo
personnaly i think you pair sould keep the arguments to PMs/phone calls - and everyone essle should keep out of it

great to see scammers exposed.

whilst there you said nothing about the clutch and i can only take your word for there being no oil patches there.
the rolling road guy could only go off your claimed spec, if it had have been that spec then yes it should see 200bhp easily.
also you are speaking to luke not nick, indeed yes nick doesnt know much about cars hence why he brought me. i do know plenty enough thanks.
i dont quite know how you have worked out that im a scammer but i have a very good reputation of being a decent and honest person. we have not sold the engine, if i had how the hell did i get those pics today??
its funny how i have been contacted by other people saying how there sorry to hear that we got done over by you and if they had known that we were interested then they would have warned us off as your a renowned bodge artist.
Back on the Fiesta...I love what you have done to the engine bay Burgo, your welding looks lovely and I know you will make a good car from this, regardless of the state you bought it from. + rep for working on the car on the roadside in the street!
O ****, some shizzle has gone down lol
i took a look at the other thread as well and it all looks standard lol
and burgo you have pm
Whatever happened to buyer beware? I do think you have been shafted Luke, however, surely an inspection of the exhaust and front brakes would have revealed the true extent of the mods before you paid for it, it does seem too cheap for the alleged mods, didn't that occur to you?
Top work so far.
burgo knows more than haynes. enough said :thumb:
well as i said earlier we are actually carrying on with this altho theres not that many pics of todays progress as we've been painting all the bits from the engine bay basically. what there is a couple of pics of tho is the shiny front wheel arches
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...o/S7303265.jpg
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...o/S7303264.jpg
the rest of the paint for the engine bay comes in tomorrow so there should be plenty of progress pics for you tomorrow night
Now I'm liking this :d The build that is and not the arguing.
Some good progress being made. In a fooking short space of time. Nice one.
shame its a ford  and shame you have been shafted but its half and half in my eyes, you took someone who knows cars very well but still went ahead with buying it when its clear 50% of it is not as it seams without having to take it apart would make many people walk away, its good to catch scammers out but you did buy it at end of day i take it was sold as seen or have i missed the advert somewhere ?
one for the courts let them decided as the seller is willing and maybe he has good reason to ?? most people will faver a well known member but it is still possible a well known and normally very helpful honest member could be a scammer, got it wrong and made a mistake ?
but hey good work like always be nice to see how it turns out in the end :thumb:
i see no sign of sold as scene on the receipt!!!
and one thing i am not is a scammer. you can see from the pics i am telling the truth
ever since the start of this, at the end of the day if there was nothing wrong with the car we wouldnt of had to call him.
to be honest i feel sorry for his business partner as dave is the nicest bloke me mate nick has spoke to and just wants the hassle sorted, as do we. hopefully james will come round to that way of thinking aswell
Good work mate, shame about all the hassle you've got from it but you're doing a good job of putting it right :thumb:
always been a fan of the mk2 fiesta's ever since my dad h a red popular plus i will be keepin my eye on this one keep up the good work
update time :). got another coat of paint on and then two coats of laquer and im proper chuffed with the paint finish concidering it was painted on the side of the road lol
