is pittled a word?
no, but pitted is lol
yes but i dont think pitted fits it. to me pitted is fooked where as pittled seems unified and patternesk. like the door cards
lol either way it's a unusual little car..
Its sweet, my mate bought a c-reg one in jamaica yellow with only 60k on it, ideal runabout and it got noticed.
Not going low, just want uprated new shocks and 30mm max drop.Quote:

And to be fair mate if it was any other color i would of just looked and gone, oh nice nova, next...
Any reason? astra gte mk2 wheels would look nice on it without looking too flash.
Well i just want it to look as it is now (or least close as)
Plus the missis will be getting to drive it most the time, as i bought it for her to have mainly, as i cant use three cars! lol
according to the urban dictionary lol
pittled isn't defined yet, but these are close:
//1. Pittle 1 up, 1 downhttp://static3.urbandictionary.com/i...gif?1249254831http://static2.urbandictionary.com/i...gif?1249254831 to pee one's own self out of sheer excitement or enjoyment
I pittled in my pants when I learned scott had a new nova.
I love this car i was perveing at it when it was up for sale lol
Brian if you peed your self thats a bit strange?? lol
And Joycey looking gets you nowhere! :thumb:
Well she's all insured Full comp for £240! lol
Didn't think i could get it that cheep, but it's on a classic cover. :d :d :thumb:
get on thats a bargain :thumb:
i think im going to have to try and get classic cover :)
Just looking into suspension now, not sure if to go for KYB shocks, and some cheep spring make, or a full kit, as there dam cheep, Jamex and Pi do full kits for £150-180
i'd get one of them cheap jamex kits.
I had a set on my punto and there where not to hard. Good value for money :thumb:
Looks an awesome buy to me :thumb: I think if I get bored of mine and want a diff car but nova works out best for insurance etc i'd be looking at a similar mk1 :)
cool cool car! great buy
Cheers for the kind words everyone, i knew you would all love her.
Well as i insured her last night i decided to drive her to work, went there and back fine, no probs, actually pulls quite well in 3rd and 4th, saw over 80mph as well lol
Just need to improve the brakes a bit, as there still a bit flat, and the shocks, oh cant wait to change them.
Was a bit like a boat trip, almost was sea sick once at work! lol
I had a full set of jamex shocks and springs on mine years ago and they where spot on, as said already not to hard.
Got value you for money.
Car looks good scott! always had a soft spot for this colour.
not spent much time online lately so have only just seen this thread ,
looks awsome mate , would make an awsome sr rep :thumb:
Drove this yesterday as scott poped over, nice drive breaks were shocking(not used to small breaks)lol it is in better condition than my 91 Gsi and it is 5 years older good find, a little work and its going to be mint!
Nice find mate, very clean motor, its newer yet more retro than my Y reg :tard: lol, me personally, i'd be making it an uber low CLEAN Sr-rep-ish jamaican ting :thumb:
lol
But im sure whatever you do with it - it will end up ace!
love the colour mate ;)
Right, no real update, though i did get hold of the Billy suspension off djbrowney, im waiting to get the springs blasted, then zinc coated, I'll start on the shock body re-ferb soon, then im looking to pick up the 14" steelies.
Im getting frustrated with it sat there doing nothing, i think im going to just do what i like with it soon, as the missis is not going to pass her test any time soon (not started learning yet) lol
So...Might Snowplough, SR Rep it, not sure yet?
Scott
SR rep sounds familiar :)
will be a moss greeb and jamica yellow SR's to look out for lol
gopd wee project scott, perfect as a mk1 sleeper
Well not an update of any progress, just that i got some use out of it this weekend just gone, as the weathers been grate lately though i would treat it to a few trips out, and used her all weekend long!
And TBF apart from the slightly less responsive braking then in my other two cars, i really enjoyed the solid/relaxing fun drive i got from the car, so quite and smooth it's hard to believe it's over 22 years old!
So here's some pics of the missis old man's car, and her mum's nova mk5 lol

Well.... First off i have MOT and tax to sort, both up end of this month, not sure if it will pass MOT, guess it's best just to put in to see.
I got some springs sand blasted, so now need to get them coated up.
Also bought a mk1 flap less cap for it, need "new" GM front drivers wing and rear arch repair lips, my mate has quoted me for replacing the rear lips (drivers inner as well) and to do any repairs/then spray it approx £800, so is it worth it??
Scott
id say do it. just to save another mk1
even you say your enjoying it :d
Best get selling my not needed nova parts then!
Well she went in for MOT yesterday..........
Failed on, Sticky rear brake drums, sticking front drivers brake caliper
Near side CV boot corroded/split- got and advisory on the rot on rear arches..
So im leaving it in the garages capable hands to sort the CV/brakes out, then it should have a new MOT :d
Not bad for a 22 year old car.
Scott
get on mate sounds good to me :d
at least you have a year now to sort the arches out :)
i also got an sr tail gate the other day for my mk1 non grab handle with spoiler so i didnt have to drill holes in mine :)
just got to get it painted and get it on
