after stripping the car down i cant see any evidence of it ever being an xe. We have had to do all the stregnthening and cut out for the alternator etc.
I like that the car has some history :-) but im sorry guys and gals its no longer staying pink and silver nor having teddies on haha
iirc when damo's brother sprayed it (in one day!) he just sprayed directly over the rot and rust, so might be worth poking about with a screwdriver for any hidden areas dude :thumb:
we have striped it right back and cut all rot out and replaced pannels were needed, the paint job was really bad, nothing that cant be fixed with a fresh coat ov st orange

Ive been told of a set near my mates but ive only ever seen these and one set on an old skool polo but ive never seen them in the flesh so yes they could/should be fairly rare!
