No, but it gives them a snapshot of your work experience. TBH any employer who hires someone without knowing their background is asking for trouble.Quote:

Some good advice there Jack.
Couple of things I'll add from my own experience:
Where possible, always send a paper C.V. Employers seem to prefer to have something to hold and read (leave it out you pervs!)
Employers receive a lot of C.V's and most of the time will skim over them. If you can make your C.V. look different and stand out from the crowd (hence posting one) you will have more chance of being called for an interview which is where they will find out what you are really like.
imho a 2 page CV is fine... aslong as the 2nd page is atleast 3/4 full.
and of course the key info is on page 1.
bmxing and shopping :D
vespas/lambrettas and pleasuring the ladys.
How can you like both? usually its one or the otherQuote:

Excellent use of admin powers!
come on kelbelle, pics of gtfo LOL
also on the Cv front. we did a whole "project" on fine tuning ours and what people look out for, most of which has been said here,
a few points. shoudl yuou put a pic in the CV as well to brake the ice and trhey might remember a face.
we were told to put in a few pictures of some of our best work. rather then just being a person who can write a nice CV pics are something different to look at and also bulk out gaps. but remember to add a small description.
and also try and make it different from all the rest. one example i got shown was a human body. with loads of arrows coming off saying loads about the person. was a nice concept. looked a bit ****e but i remember it!!
and have to say, nice tremplate jack gonna use it now to rewrite mine as im applying for a job soon
Need to be careful how you lay out a CV tbh. Pics of work would be a portfolio, not a CV, and something that you bring to an interview.
Remember, the CV is purely saying whether or not you have the experience or qualifications to do the job; the interview is where you promote yourself as the best person for it.
CV gets you the interview; interview gets you the job.
yeh i totaly understand, but those pics could make the difference between that person picking up your cv and not picking it up, maybe because they liked your quriky design. maybe thought one of your pictures was really good. also then they can ask you about them in the interview?
and its something different and pleasent to look at compared to the other 10 million words they have got to read.
ive never heard of pics being put on a CV, unless its a portfoilio like RJ said
bmw156 - isnt kellebelle your missus ? therefore you dont need pics (but could get us some ;))
lol yeh she is my missus, i thought i would just join in, every little helps yeh?
and nah im not that horrible, would never host pics of her in the net with outher permission, ok well naughty ones of her.
I wonder if an employer would notice if you watermarked pedobear fiddling some japanese hentai kids onto your CV
I was amazed how many came with photos attached, thought it was a great idea!
loving the CV writing tips in your sig!
