yeah need a box and a motor. full saabs go for 3-500 on the bay so its all good. manta boxes for 100 ish. it also means i can seam weld it too.

and thats as far as it is. the box is out, the front susp cleaned and painted the back also, lumps in bits but i have a fronty 2.4 as a short term measure. the box is mint and the weldings done. needs wings back on then paint
i know where theres a 2 door one of these but the old beryl wont part with it :(

update
weldings done apart from the chassis leg,
motors back together, but im watching a 2.2 on the bay.
will have more progress after xmas. see my parts thread and fund the resto!
Can I suggest one thing mate? Cut that ****ing ugly front off it and make it into an Ascona. Locking Panel needs welded in and the rest is bolt on and the Ascona looks sooooo much better. Then Turbo it, slam it on Superlights or any 15" or less deep dished rims and fit 4 Cibie Spot lights. That would look sooo mint.

thats a credit card in the bottom corner in the last pic btw. its now polished thanks to me dad. ive ordered my englemann mirrors from the u.s (ta dod) and my spax kit(50mm drop) and my polybushes. brakes are next, but i cannny decide between the fav method, carlton 2.2 disks and volvo 240 4 pots, or some tasty porsche 6 pots ive been offered......
