Didn't think the c16xe's where very strong engines without spending a fortune on them

I think the best thing for you to do before choosing an engine is decide what you want it to do. Sounds to me like you want a strong engine, which maybe indicates that you want to rev it, in which case it all comes down to budget.

Going by what I have herd the swift engine is the one! Strong, loves to revv, and cheep!

There you have it. For those on a tight budget it's perfect.

My old nova ended up swift powered and was very competetive, it may still be going, last i heard it was going to ireland.
