are you talking about calibra/cav equal length shafts?
Yes. The outer shaft on the off side needs to be shorter to run them on a nova as the track is narrower. David Dixon only has pairs at the mo. As I am already running big block shafts, I only need the offside shaft.
Might be worth buying the pair then selling yours as a set. I've not seen them come up on thier own.
I can vouch for Mr Dixons shafts. I've given my set a lot of abuse.
Hadn't thought of like that Hobbit.
I can use the cv joints from the equal length setup?
Cant you just use normal cav/cally equal shafts with a bit cut off end of cv joing so it doesnt stick miles out past the wheel?
Cut and weld shafts would be an option but I don't think it's needed these days
I think you're thinking of using Cav/Cally shafts on a Corsa, you're able to regroove it a little higher to shorten them
I'd prefer to use a matched set of driveshafts rather than buy one that doesn't match the other in terms of design/materials/machining but maybe that's my OCD kicking in. Definitely a good modification though, reuse your original outer CVs and buy a new 'middle' CV, they're not expensive (like £15)
