afaik all gsi 2.5 vectras had the 3.0 cams fitted, so i was informed,
to be honest its an engine i have very limited knowlage of, i presume tb's are out of the question due to space?
Really wouldnt bother trying to tune one of these.
Id put the money into either a LET&F28 combo if he really wants more power.
More wisely spent on a decent set of brakes, some proper suspension and some decent tyres.
Theyre like an old boat as standard!
Correct thats why 2.5 GSi had 190bhp and 2.5 SRi etc 170bhpQuote:

Maybe a later version was built with that but at least one of the Calibra DTM's was built on the X25XE base.
ive got an F28 and a let short engine but i want to keep that for a nova lol
i think the best action would be to put the fat bird on a slim fast plan, keep costs down on the engine and spend on suspension and poly bushes, it has 308 discs anyway so might just get better pads,
Paul what box is in these cars? we might look at a ATB diff as knockhill is really hard to get the power down onto the main straight out of the hairpin as the inside wheel is usually light and got no traction.
at most, one was built, before they realised it was crap.Quote:
