I think I'd rather have a Mk1 1.4SR than a 1.3. The Mk2 1.4SR was overshadowed by the SRi as well.
I think the 1.3Sr's are quicker than the 1.4's
Well the ones ive driven have been anyway

My first car (whay back in 1994) was a 1.4SR. A very early Mk2 G reg 1.4SR.
G339MWT if anyone on ere owned it..... IIRC I flogged it to a yoof in Doncaster!
Died in 2001 according to DVLA.
I bought it from a Nova trader on the A58 on the outskirts of Leeds. (was an angry man on too many roids!)
