Wow very nice. I was expecting a standard sport project as s the tren these days but a stunning car none the less. Amazing rebuild of the front end.
Can't wait to see the final product. :thumb:

Had some pics here since sept 08 so its about time I got them up.
The original plan was to get the car presentable and back on the road so it was a case of getting the grime off and Clean it up. So on we went with the cleaning.

Good to see this out again mark! One of my fave sports.
So that was last year (sorry for the quick updates it just that I've sorting stuff whilst typing on and off lol )...
Bringing it all right upto date, Paul came down for a weekend earlier in the year and we spent a day trying to get the car running but we failed! Following day Paul stripped the interior back out (taking a step back over!!) and started getting the car ready for a coat of fresh paint!!
The plan was to get a pro to look at the throttle bodies and get it running right and get the car painted. Paul agreed before putting the car in to be looked at and sorted that the wiring (which was a bit un tidy as the loom was a temporary measure) would need to be better presented. Whilt doing this we stumbled on the proble. The throttle position sensor was wired up wrong and would technicaly of been readin 180 degrees out, simple bit of wire switching and hey presto it was running sweet as anything!!
The idea of the next few weeks is to get the engine out, all the running gear off and get the car onto my trolley I made up for to move the spider around on and send the car for paint. Whilst the car is away all the parts will be cleaned, polished and general sorted ready to bolt straight back onto the car. That should take us into the new year and then MOT time all ready for the 2010 show season!
Looks nice and clean, but i dont like those skirts.
Has cleaned up real nice.
It wouldnt be original if the skirts came off, It was an original Zender press car from what I understand. One of 2 cars they had fitted with the skirts and spoiler :thumb:Quote:
