What marks on the valves. Heat will ruin stuff but I doubt your drill will have ever have got the valves as hot as the temp inside the combustion chamber when its running. While its apart you may want to get 3 angle cut on the valve seats, I cant tell if you have that done from your picture.

what benefits are there to the upside down shocks? and can you show us pics of how they are mounted?

i will get some pics this week...

not too sure about the benifits. all i can think of is the as they are gravel shocks, if dust and stones hit the shock, then it wont rest on the seal and ruin it when its being used. but thats the only reason i can think why. the previous owner fitted them. :thumb:
