late G's & H platers were 1400cc before the mk2 was launched.
Nice base to tart up, shame about it's condition but it could be far worse! I love mk1 SR's, coolest Novas going IMO.
again i agree they are definately the coolest novas!!!Quote:

Nice car white2ltSR.
We were thinking of sticking with the steelys or be it 15" so we can get a brake upgrade on there.
With regards to rust - there is some. One of the arches has gone along with the sill and the inner front wing needs a patch or two. The boot and battery tray seems clear, although I only had a quick look.
I havent been able to get up to the lockup today as im feeling a bit ill. See what tommorow brings.
you can get 16v 256mm brakes behind 14" rims
Nice! Well with that in mind Ill try and get some lower profile tyres. What size are you running? Also in your picture I cant quite make out what you've done with the rub strips that split the vinyl from the paint work. have you got a clearer picture?
Right we did a little today. Just stripped out the backend checked it out for rust. It needs a new front, sill and rear arch on one side. Both the doors are suprizingly good. Its got some gmax springs and shocks. We stripped off the side strips to give them a clean.
Quick question - Where do you get replacement vinyl?
Speak to ade about getting the vinyls, although I would advise against it on the door bottoms, they trap moisture and rot out. IMO match a dark grey at a paint shop and do it that colour :thumb:
Car don't sound too bad other than that.
