Turreting the rear?

I got my own ones made that suited the rear end of the Nova. Its not an issue of weight, more how well they will fit & how much welding & fettling is required to get them welded in strong enough & if it concerns you, how neat the job is.

Yea ive looked at your and austins and think they look very good. See i fancy making my own but speaking chris (ck) he said to just buy the ones linked. And i cant remember who's this is but looks like he has used the square ones and it also looks very good with the brace going across

Besides more weight in the back is never a bad thing if it adds to the handling/tuning potential. a stripped nova will always have a front to rear wight ratio of about 2:1, even with moving things like batterys etc to the rear.

Yea thats very true, i am putting the rad into the back so this will help a little bit with the battery

I suggest you buy a pair & get cutting, the worst would be you end up not using them? unlikely.

Btw AC Services in Bridgwater stocks the turrets mentioned IIRC. Maybe call to find out.

well saying that ive just been offerd a pair of square one at a good price, so taking your advice ill get them and just take time in making them fit right.

Weld them nice and high, so you have the potential to drop it so it scrapes along the floor, get a few pics then re-weld them at a sensible height! lol
