With a broken Gear linkage. He make it most the way down the M1 before the gearlinkage broke and he could only get 3rd and 4th..

Lucky he wasnt staying from where i live so i told him to come over and we'd get it sorted..

While he striped the pinch bolt bit of the linkage..

I found some nice Stainless lovely to do the repair job..

After a few trys to set the linkage by him self, then finding he had not reverse.. I gave a quick hand to just hold the stick now he has all 5gears and they feel better.

setting up the gears aint rocket science lol.

No, but doing it by your self aint easy... The gear stick tends to wander off..
