Whats stopping you routeing the normal one that way?
Its too long to do it, whereas im guessing that one sits nicely like that (or even in the normal routing would look better than a standard xe cable) and has the correct fittings at either end:thumb:
Be careful how you route the cable, if you route it wrong it will stick and cause it to rev its plums off :thumb:
Nice little addition on the throttle cable.
Its sorted the most stupidly designed thing on a xe lol
Yeah lets just route the throttle cable hanging over the engine bouncing off the cam cover lol
Well seen as how ive removed my sub setup (ONLY 18 year old with no sub in their car round here!) Ive decided a nice little touch would be to go all factory with the audio, so picked up these
2x SC201's (Came standard in poverty Novas)

1x SC303 (GSI standard item)

And this beauty, mega rare CD300 (Optional extra in cavaliers and Calibras, note the LCD display on the unit unlike Corsas Vectras etc)

Cant decide what one to use, as the CD300 doesnt illuminate when the headlights are on :( anyone know if this is an easy fix?
The most up to date will be best due to wattage, the original head units were lacking in sound and distort when your tunes are banging lol
Do any of them have aux ports on the back to let you plug in at least a external feed through a headphone socket?
nice mate have you had it out yet ? youl love it , wish i had a valver in mine when i was 18
Ohh liking the headunits, i changed the old (broken) original headunit to an pioneer optional extra headunit out of an '84 micra. Only problem with mine is that the manual knob tuner is hard to get the radio stations, and with the tuner knob being the bigger one, i always use that one instead of the volume one lol.
How much did the headunits cost you, like the philips one? Heres mine, looks awesome at night as the whole thing lights up in the old orangy light and looks so retro lol.
