ish. its not so much what you use to secure the springs it is more that they dont fall out when they jack it upQuote:

Good work Adam:thumb:
Let me know how the coilovers go with an MOT as I've always worried about my springs dislocating when jacked up.
Can't wait for you to bring it round and let me drive it! :)
Youd have to hit a 3foot ramp and get a foot of air for the suspension to become fully extended anyway, it would NEVER happen on a road car. So its not a problem, but i remember on my old nova, the tester commented about the springs, but i didnt wind them up any and he passed it. Whether he forgot about it or not im not sure.
As soon as its mot'd/taxed/insured i'll bring it over your way one night ;)
Just dont break it lol
looks very good mate, well done, its the best move you ve done going 2.0 16v they are awesome engines, the performance they offer when put into a nova is staggering.
Cheers :)
can you not get helper springs, my rear coilovers have them underneath the main spring, when the car is jacked up the helper spring keeps the tension on the main spring stopping it slopping around like a sloppy cock!
just a thought :)
Im going see if the tester mentions them first, if he fails it on them then helper springs is a possible solution :)
