I'm all excited! Just won some seats on ebay!

This week I've been painting up the tie bar & TCA etc from the drivers side & am trying to get the car ready to wheel out the garage to turn around.
Didnt get much done last weekend as I was scrapping my old Luxe + Nova. R.I.P. (pics may follow)

The Mantzel plenum is bolted down with the gasket I made & a new VALEO headlamp arrived I won on ebay. ?7.99, of which ?5.00 was postage. BARGAIN! So just need to order 1 new headlamp & I have new indicators I bought years ago.

The fr end is slowly coming together. Rad is in with the Samco's, I need all new Jubilee clips on all hoses though.

What seats did you get, any pics or links?

Haha. I wanted it to be at PV this year & tbh its still no closer, yet I've put in a lot of hours since.

I wish I'd spent more time last year sprucing up all the parts that go back on, most of the work is renovating parts like hubs, tie bars, painting the floor pan etc.

Its getting there. As said when I get to turn it araond in the garage, things should really happen as I can work on th edrivers side by installing the fuel lines, fuel pump & generally work towards starting her up!

Anyone wanna witness a 16XE fire up off a bare 4 branch BTB manifold?

As I have limited tools aswell, things that need fabricating are taking a back seat, stuff like welding the custom modded battery tray, the alternator adjuster, a bracket to hold the PAS pump steady etc.

If it doesnt make the shows next year, no one on here will ever hear from me again & I will slide away into depression.
