kadett c would be my choice if you can find one!

manta 1800 gearbox and sump and mounts, abuse the tunnel a bit, poss a specially made prop, talk to a guy calles djivesp on mig or dejaaiiii! as they both have xes in kadetts

djivesp has a 2.0 8v turbo in a kadette, the guy is a legend he has helped me with so much info when building mine.

ok, the final stint.

got my lifters through, squished them in oil and installed them:

then unwrapped my cams, and put some graphogen paste onto the surfaces. and tightened down the cams in the right order.

New seals on the ends of the cams.

i also bought some new bolts of ebay for the rocker cover so put on my new gasket and bolts the rocker cover down just to keep some shizzle out.

just need to get as bottom pulley now which has the timing mark on, then i can time it up. im sure i have one laying about, just cant find it lol.

then save for some kinda car lol.

engine looks the t*ts mate, if only Opel Asconas were easy to find... id love one of them... dolomites look good too, id like to build a LET hillman imp, are they mid or rear engined?
