Ride height is Mental.... Too high!

RE full lock rubbing, Just chuck some smaller wheels on it for MOT?

I can appreciate wanting a nice clean looking bay, but when you've paid nigh on £300 for an open pit trackday, and you need to splice into your loom in a hurry, or on a sessioned day, 3 minutes before you're on track, as time is money, you'll no longer want to be taking the wing off, and radiator out to get to your wires...

Seems confusing, as the car is quite clearly built for purpose, but then the odd oddity (wires hidden) is strange...

you should be able to splice the hidden loom inside the car; passenger footwell area; so no worries like

Understand what you're saying Olly. Only put the wiring in the wing because I needed to relocate it in the first place (rollcage comes out where the original hole is). As Peester said I can splice that in the footwell, and can pull the slam panel wiring through from the front if I need to access that, but it's only front lights and radiator fan so can't see me needing to touch them.

the bolt usually goes in the front of the hub so the nut goes towards the back of the car, doesnt really matter tbh as long as its done up tight in the first place

And why would you need to do that before a track session?

I can't think of a good reason?

So youve obviously never been waiting for a track session then and realised something isn't working 35secs before your due to go on? /\ lol

Bodgery pokery 10 secs before you go out is part + parcel of the fun!

Lots of reasons, in that bit of wiring:

Fan stops working, no power to coil, need an earth, loads of reasons.

I have cut hoses from my Vectra tow car before and used them on my Nova, infact my socket set is still missing its long 12mm socket as it joining a pipe on the vectra!
