Thanks Benn, I got quite a bit of satisfaction standing back looking at it after :)
I'm now contemplating grinding back the continuous welds where the plate meets the tube and dress it with the pulse style welding I used on the turrets. Will do the same on the front prob too. I appreciate its a waste etc but when I come to do the other plating work it will only be 1.6mm thick and i will pulse weld all that, so it keeps it uniform!
Totally understandable. All the welds looking uniform will look fantastic as i'm guessing they wont be ground off.
Glad you did stay back and be happy. You bloody should be.
Once done, that body will be stronger than any production hyper / Super car. Stiff.
An incredible project and some very good craftsmanship.

Welding looks good to me. Really must teach myself to weld. Spent too many years around people that can weld so always left it to someone else and regret it now.
