Heres the pics of the last few weeks updates, fitted a full central locking kit including a custom boot one out of a Cavalier off Graeme from here, had abit of spare time in work today to took the smoothed boot lock offi got given with the kit, flatted it back as the filler had sunk in the hole abit, gave it a good key and used soem stuff we had on the shelf at work, plastic repair texture coat, came out a spot on match to the original texture, slightly darker but not too bad, stuck it back on...

Also fitted electric windows to it also, after a nightmare with them turned out to be some dodgy gunked up switches, while they were out filed the holes in the centre console to put them upside down so they now work the right way

And this is how the wiring is fed through on both sides for now, ill do it properly when i take it off the road next year, once the doors closed its hidden between the door and dash anyway

i think all of us have done this at one point or another!, if you ever need any conduit for the doors i have plenty work wont miss ;)

dave why didnt u just swop the two wires over on each switch ? then the switch would actually be the right way round too :)

I didnt know what two needed swapping lol

Well finally got a set of lights in it like i used to have thanks to Matt Brown, one of the lenses needs re-sealing onto the light a little but but no biggie

Its now back as it was before the jacking, apart form the new better exhaust lol

My new job as a valeter also means i cna keep it minty mint from now on too, been valeted twice in the last week lol :thumb: ITS ALL GURDDDD!!

Why not paint the whole grab handle to match the lock/blank?

Would look better with no grab handle and wiper though IMO.

A nice white pinstripe would look good also :)

If the switches work right but upside down the 2 wires going to each door needs swapped round.
