Got a sandwich plate off Philip, top stuff. Now got it fitted with the cooler off John. Fits nicely behind the grill, cable tied to the rad/fan mount.
Also got my front strut brace sprayed up in a random met blue colour, looks very random, but cool in the bay
Got the engine filled with oil, and the batt refitted and it turns over on the starter fine
Also plugged the ecu in, and ive got a ecu light with ignition,so all is good.
Just need sort the exhaust, and put some fuel in before i can fire it up :)
Brake fluid/Coolantr/Interior/Gauge wiring left to do :)
Got it running yesterday. Had a visit from Iainel and Emma, and was so confident in my own ability that i gave its first startup attempt, and it fired up 1st go  lol
Good oil pressure too
Ran it up to temp and all is good. Typical XE the sump gasket is leaking
Also got the brakes bled, piece of piss with eezibleed kit, took about 5mins do the whole system.
Hoping get the exhaust welded up tomorrow, and go over the wiring for the Tim tacho, as it isnt working, unless it aint compatible with the tacho signal from a xe ecu.....
I can confirm it started first go, how boring is that lol
lol lol
Jealous? :p
