One Frontera inter cooler in surprisingly good condition
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler001.jpg
One front panel in need of some surgery
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler002.jpg
The first incision
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler003.jpg
And the waist material removed
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler005.jpg
So i thought i would just try the cooler in place

I'm please with the initial fitment although some fettling is needed, i think i'm going to fab something up to suit these original mounts.

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler010.jpg
I'm not 100% sure what yet but i have some ideas, i may use these rubbers instead though.

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler017.jpg
Before i finished off butchering the front panel i decided i would move the rad mounts so i knew what i had to work with.
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler012.jpg
A little neater here with two new rad mount holes
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler013.jpg
I temporarily sprayed a little primer around the new holes to keep the damp out so i could fit the rubber gromits and inturn the rad
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler014.jpg
Once the rad was inplace i could start to position the intercooler in a more permanant location, to work out what room i had for pipe work etc
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler019.jpg
Once i was happy with the coolers location, i decided i would refit the front bumper and bonnet to see what i was left with
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler021.jpg
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...rcooler022.jpg
Again i'm surprised at how well things fit as i don't think much of the bumper will need removing although i could be wrong lol
Ignore the white bonnet and white bits on the bemper if you will but i think it will look alright.

I will hopefully get some more done tomorrow thanks for looking :thumb:
Looking good :)
That looks good, quite neat. Nice work.
Will pull that f20 out for you this week.
Cheers chaps
That inter cooler fitment is a nice tidy job for first trail fit! Only you could call that a trail fit.. lol
Looking better, it's just nice to see something in the bay again.

Ah that brings back memories! Good work as always chap. Didn't fancy an sr/gte bumper tho to cover it up?
Simps.
