npower are offering 22.5k a year which is alright money, but i dont want to be stuck in a dead end job forever, the only job i have done and injoyed was landscaping, but then when i talk to people they remind me all i did when doing that was moan about how **** it was lol
22.5k aint nowt to be sniffed at TBF.
Still about £1500ish a month take home. And I doubt youd get that as a landscape gardener in this climate :/
they just changed the laws governing debt collection.. its more difficult to get the money.
there are 2 sorts of debt
managed & not a chance in hell of getting the money...
building/landscaping is not going to be much good for a couple of years, people will always need power supplies
thats what im thinking and thats before bonuses aswell, not bad for a guy that left school with fook all lol
I'd be on the phone first thing in the morning to nPower mate
You know what the job is and it will be reliable income
I cant even believe you have to consider pulling up fukking weeds or knocking on doors asking for money like some cardboard gangster.
Its a no brainer! lol
my brother left school with nowt, got a job on a farm ready for when he left, did day release at local college, then 1 year at agric college. he has a 61 reg big rangerover & has run his own business since '88. he still is a farmer at heart, but only has 30 acres...
ps. the 'a team' tree splitter was in use today....lol
our groundwork part of the business is busy, but we did cut the staff back over the last couple of years..
oddly enough, after the biblical weather we've had, we are building all weather horse arenas.. we have a reputation that if we can't drain it, its cos it can't be drained..
but we don't do very much domestic these days
