What do you mean its broken are you planning on running the standard mounts with the let?
I would cut up some rubber hose/ old exhaust rubbers stuff it in the mount, then fill it up with some silicone/sealer. Stiffens them up nice
he's not running a let iirc lolQuote:

£500 new £300 second hand, very well spent an you no i talk mucho sence :thumb:
The top join in the rubber is cracked/non-existant. If I can't get another pair cheapo 2nd hand I'll just pack out these two for now. I want solid mounts but its something I can and later once its running. Same score with the diff browney. I'm fully aware of the benefits but its just not top of the list, especially when I won't be using the f28 when going rwd.
i might have a mount you can have as im buying solid one's for the black one and and some new ones for the blue one x
xx
well every gear box i no has a diff lolQuote:
does that box have a diff fella ???
take it you meant a LSD in the gear box ya lol
Yes, well done.Quote:

Need to get it turned round in the shop and its back end back up in the air as work starts on the other rear tub on saturday afternoon. Its a risky stratedgy, as we'll only have saturday arvo and full day the following saturday to get it done to be able to make Billing so the heat is on.
The gearbox is sitting closer than I remember to the chassis so may have to fold that a little yet but I'm still not 100% happy with the engine position so will do that first.
I had a white rocker cover but as you can see by the pics its not quite a perfect match so I'm getting another one sprayed this weekend.

Jay.
i like what you have done with the bottles. very neat
I've been under the impression this was a track project all along lol
It is! I've relocated the washer bottle and brakes so they are more central to the car. I've removed the many layers of heavy vaux paint and replaced them with lightweight aftermarket paint. This list goes on ;)Quote:

nope, Scott lol awwww, how pretty lol
I suppose he could have got confused, as he might have been pondering over the exact shade of white that the rocker cover needed to be or even if the gearbox would have looked better in silver and before he knew it he had forgotten what thread he was reading lol
Cheeky, mines plated them skimmed. One coat of fiber glass, two of filler.Quote:

Looks great, how much does it weigh? lol :p
In light of other nova saloons coming out in the open with rwd credentials I've decided to abandon this project in search of something original and have started to look at turning it into a monster truck....

All being well Michael will be back for the full day next saturday to, fingers crossed, finish it off in time for Billing.

Collecting the 924 in the morning unless its humming it down!
