move the air filter
1) put it on the wing, that wing looks lonly, nothing on there
2) when driving, the warm air from the rad is blowing on to it, (not really a good point with a turbo lol)

Looks spot on, and its amazing how much smoother it is with a solid mount. doesn't make sense does it :tard: lol
but...
[MK999] This mount doesn't look very strong. [/MK999]

I see my seats have gone to a good home :d , price is that when i return to the midlands september, that i come to lincon and you have to take me for a ride in the beast. As the ride i had in it wasnt exactly fun, being towed through the pv show by an mg  lol . Looks good though mate, nice and clean
ps. paint my car for me please :)
aha my rear wiper isn't wired up so no danger of wiping it off accidently lolQuote:

Cheers guys, Baxter yeah I am going to make a air box! Plus I am going to fit a front mount as mine has cracked lmao! plus I don't see the point in paying more on the insurance for a scoop!
Connor I will take you for a blast in it next time I see you, maybe at billing! If you want to know what it goes like ask lewis or stupot :)
Lewis: didn't meet him as the mrs had just come out of hospital and is badly, so will do it another day lol, oh and the cardboard mount broke straight away so had to go back to the drawing board lmao
I should of thought of that really Lewis lol never mind!
Nar not today as dan said misses isn't very well so can't leave her at home alone! Should be fun doing it in a car park lol
Haha I didn't even notice the cardboard mount bet that will sort the problem lol
connor: it really does go like a scalded cat, your kidneys won't be able to keep up with it. 3rd gear wheel spin in the dry ftw!
ah fair do's guys, novas have to take a back seat occasionally!
and cardboard mounts for the win!
Connor, am glad lewis said that :)
Sounds fun :d , and things are looking bleak for mine atm, might be coming off the road in the next couple of days
Why, is she rotten?
Nah, needs mega tlc and a rebuild and also has mot and tax out next week and i'd rather spend a year rebuilding it properly than scraping it through an mot, in talks with someone about renting there garage for a year, and hopefully getting a new car in the next couple of weeks as a uni runabout. Dont know if you have noticed, but i am not happy with the condition of it atm and it will only get worse if i keep it on the road and use it for uni etc.
where are the pics of these boost pipes then? they are like pr0n :d lol
They will be uploaded soon, where is my video?
oh yeah, i'll do it now :thumb:

Edd
Sounds sweet!
Cheers Edd, and DB it sounds better in real life :)
I do like the sound of a good diesel. Thanks fornthe rep too, I tried to rep you for the good thread and progress, but couldn't :(.
Thanks pal :) I will get another video up soon of it going up the box a bit!
Cool, I'll be looking forward to them.
Oh yeh!ni forgot to say, is that Irish Meadow you have on the sub box, in the boot?!
some kinda baileys rep, about all what was left after PV lol
Lol, i thought it was! Icelands own I think, either way, it taste good and contains alcohol.
I heard you breaking traction in 2nd on the video, whats the boost pressure just out of interest?
err might peak at 26psi in second, will touch 31psi in 4th and 32/3psi in 5th. Since I have had the plunger machined its like a different car!
Lol! Thats immense! I know we had my mate astra saloon upto 25psi, but he whimped out and put the washer back in, and tried to revert it to standard.
Id love to see what a properly boost derv (like yours)goes like!
I can say it goes well after being in it 2 nite. Was very impressed even tho took the p** for it having the devils fuel!
Cheers Dave, I will give you a hand with this wiring when ever dude. Are you free this weekend?
you need to turn your fuel back down Dan. Following through Harmston last night it was f*cking awful, we actually couldn't see your tail lights or numberplate reflecting, and you were only 40 feet away! lol
Yeah I did figure it were bad but I only did it as your lights were dazzeling me lol
you mean my perfectly adjusted lights? lol what about your search lights? :p lol
they are to bright mate, trust me on that couldn't see a thing
this must be the first time a Nova's headlights have been described as too bright lol i'll check them again next time i'm near work :thumb: probably a bit wonkey having taken them out a few times
but your's is a proper VOSA magnet smoking like that :p lol
oh and there are pics of last night in the 'Lincoln meet' thread :thumb:
Yeah i will turn it back down later

Any way went for a spin, it does lag a bit more, takes about 500rpm more to boost fully and its lost 6psi but does feel to want to rev higher and pull harder all the way to the governor! Still requires loads of little bits before billing but am getting there!
im just going to get a custom rad made up so i can run the pipes down the sides of the rad
yeah thought about that but I like to do things a bit differnt. the engines do like to run a bit hot to so make sure you get a nice and thick one.
looks good mate you`ve got alot of pipe work there mate
