The Escos shell & running gear will all live on. Albeit not in one piece.
I guess the reason this isnt more common is because the nova is so successfull in FWD format, LOL
Nice project Colin. Keep at it, will be a credit to you & what is done with Novas when completed.
id say its not that common as not all of us have got the time space or money to do such a project lolQuote:

One of the reasons i think using scoobie running gear and a floor pan etc would be a good idea is because theyre cheap and very easy to get hold of and the amount of tuning goodies and accessories available are second to none. Hows your car coming along anyway mate? you have the whole floor and bulkhead in dont you? is this all welded up or just tacked in so you can adjust it? what was alining everything like? because it'll have to be pretty spot on to avoid it shaking its self to bits, look forward to the next update.
Right a wee update now The sierra floor is now 100% fully fitted in place now. Next step now is to seal up all the welding so its nice and tidy and weather proof. now i need to get the cage sorted and get a wide arch kit... Anyone got a good second hand one for sale????? looking for the pro-tech style one if i you aint got one well new it will be then. Also im struggling with a colour anyone got any ideas?????? i was going to go focus st orange but thinking now to keep the coulor vauxhall
How have you gone about making sure everything is straight and square ?? just measured it all up ?? You wouldn't want it to crab up the road !! ha
You just have to measure from loads of different points from body to floor and then floor to body till its all symmetrical. You just haave to get your points at the start. Front ones and rears and side points bla bla bla. Do you catch my drift
Oh aye, just didn't know if you'd used any kind of jig / brace to hold it all together or not while welding it all up.
Its just a case of tacking and measuring and rechecking and doing as needed as per measurements:)
No pics!?
The new vxr colours look nice if you want to keep it a vauxhall colour :thumb:
