The cams are a full on profile.

However, I maybe inclined, to build it all up stock, with a stock inlet, check it runs etc, then put the bits on one at a time.

Would a pair of standard XE cams make it run better? And the " throttle bodies " are ment to be a direct replacement for standard to a standard ecu would be fine then?

with cam's and this inlet, you need a decent dyno remapp.
what are the specs of the cams?

Standard cams and the inlet would give a reasonable ish running engine though, tbh I'd get rid of the Dbilas bodies and get milder cams though, unless you want to go to aftermarket management, and then I'd get rid of the Dbilas bodies and keep the mad cams

thats me just got the engine out there, think am good at doing things the hard waylol , but atleast its out now:thumb:

Pretty sure its not standered pistons that are in the engine anyway

tbh this is all new to me so a dont really understand the how these parts affect the running of it, but it doesnt sound good:(

do i sell the engine then?

just put it back to a xe mate

the throtle bodies were ment to be bolted to a stantard xe as a cheep way to get extra power they will be ok to leave on, just swap the cams to standard xe ones and bin that bodged exhaust manifold and it should be ok. the pistons are high comp ones and should be good to use. if i can help in any way give me a call 07766035174 stevie.
